Move-ups or automatic and/or mutual aid as decided by the shift battalion chief
Districts with an ambulance and engine should do what to ensure district coverage?
Keep at least one of the units available in district other than for emergencies or authorized training approved by the shift battalion chief
Who may authorize an apparatus that is normally staffed with 4 personnel to operate temporarily with 3 personnel?
Shift battalion chief or the assistant fire chief or the fire chief or their designee
When will the departments daily scheduling officer revise and update as necessary the daily staffing schedule?
Early each morning
What is the responsibility of the company officer concerning leave?
Check to make sure it is noted properly on the staffing schedules for the day
Why should company officers look at their next shift in advance?
To note any potential problems on the upcoming shift
