Q

What have we done?

Amazon

A

The G7 agreed to put together $22 million as emergency aid for the countries affected by the fires. This sounds like a lot of money, but it isn’t really. As a comparison, a new F35 costs about $100 million and Netflix paid $100 million to continue streaming “Friends”.

Q

Your opinion?

Amazon

A

Our planet is pretty much already passed the tipping point in regards to sustainability. We should be doing everything we can to combat these issues. Yes, it is important to fight evil in the world via tyrannical dictators and religious extremists, but in the next 100 years I’d be willing to bet that the climate crisis kills more people than ISIS and Saddam Hussein combined.
