What is Chloasma?
Chloasma is a condition in which large brown patches form on the skin, mainly on the face due to pigmentation without discomfort feeling.
What is the Chinese name for Chloasma?
Chloasma is also called ‘Gan Ban’ because it is generally associated with the disorder of the Liver
Clinical manifestation of Chloasma
Dark patches of skin on forehead, temples, cheeks and upper lip. Colour, shapes + size are not even.
Seen in women as it’s closely relationed to the Liver + reproductive health
