When is formal verbal Communication used?
Used for official situations, presentations.
Use for primary one directional communication.
NOTE
Formal does not include meetings because communication goes back and forth in a meeting

When is informal written communication used?
Included non-legal documents, documentation that preceded any contracts, general documentation, and written notes.
PM still considers memos and emails to be in formal written documents
What is considered informal verbal communication?
Any verbal communication that isn’t formal such as people talking. Includes meetings, because they are by directional communication among the participants.
What are the three types of listening skills?
Active listeners

Nonverbal listening
What does it mean to be an active listener?
Are aware of verbal and nonverbal messages
Emphasize with the speaker

The process of ensuring that the information needs of the project and stakeholder are met.
