King Ching
He is the great-grandson of Ting, he took the throne in 544 BC and had an uneventful 20 year reign.
Duke of Chu/King of Chu
He took advantage of the clipped reigns which seemed to indicate some kind of trouble in the capital of Ting’s land.
Prince Kai/King Ching II
He is one of the brothers that fled the capital from King Tao. He chose the name Ching II to insit on his rightful claim to the throne.

He is a reformer and as a teacher gained a following that lasted for millennia. Confucius is a Latinized version of his name by which he became know all over the world.
Li ching
it is a shoal of rituals and ceremonies into a text which regulates everything from the proper attitude of mourners to the orderly succession of monthly tasks.
Lun yu
it is made up of the sayings of Confucius, also called the Analects.
King Tao
He was the younger brother of Ching’s oldest son, he attacked and killed his brother taking the throne for himself.
Shi jing
it is a book of the oldest poems and songs of China, an anthology for future use.
Sun-Tzu
He was a philosopher who made an attempt to lay out principles by which China might find unity.
Ting
He is the younger brother of the grandson of Hsiang. Ting came to the throne in 606 BC.
