Ch’eng

Feng & Hao
This was the new double-city capital of the Shang, the cities were separated by the Fenghe river.
K’ang
He is the son of Ch’eng, and he took the throne after his father died. He pushed the northern part of the kingdom further out.
Loyang
It became the center of a new city after Tan, Duke of Zhou, built it to protect and watch the people to the east.
Lu-fu
His is the son of Chou, his father made him one of his subject lords, with the authority over the vassal center of the old Shang kingdom.
Mu
He is the son of Zhao, he redefined the Mandate of Heaven in order to hold onto it.
The Nine Cauldrons
They are nine ceremonial vessels that represented the Zhou position at the top of the power ladder.
Tan
His is the brother of Chou, after his Chou died, he became a regent.
Zhao
He is the son of K’ang, he came to the throne around 977. Like his father, he expanded the land to the south of the Shang capital.
