A

No, there is no restrictions. All we need is the date of the application.

A

No, they are not

A

No, with the exception of battered women and children, who are residing in shelters and receiving FS benefits in the abusers residence

What is considered homeless?

A

A person who lacks a fixed regular nighttime residence a person who resides in a supervise shelter for temporary accommodations. A halfway house or similar institution, and the temporary accommodation is no more than for 90 days or a place. It’s not designated for normal sleeping, such as a bus station lobby, Park Street, etc..

What are examples of a request for mailing address being different than their physical address?

A

Reasons for a different address. Mailing address might be mail, theft, domestic violence, no mail, delivery or Postal Service. Refuses to deliver maybe household lives in a camper trailer space or a confidential, safe home for program. Make sure to document it make sure to document it in case comments make sure to ensure that we do have customers physical address, which is in San Diego county and then forms 09–81 is no longer required and HS asking now approve requests

When initially applying for Cal fresh, does the entire household need to provide a Social Security card number?

A

No, however once the application starts being processed, each household member must provide a Social Security number or verification of application for Social Security card number exception would be expedited services non-citizen, victims of trafficking, domestic violence, and other serious crimes

What is the responsibility of the worker in regards to verifying Social Security card numbers of applicants?

A

It is the workers responsibility to verify Social Security card numbers by ordering IEVS and or through MEDS however, do not delay in issuance of benefits or certification in an eligible household just because the Social Security card number has not been verified

A

A

They will be referred to as ineligible non-citizen, and will be thought of as an excluded member of the Cal fresh household, and their income and resources will be available to the household as specified

blind, or federally disabled

Who gets CFAP-California food assistance program?

A

Those that receive CFAP are non-citizens that do not meet a condition based on federal law

What is the difference between SNAP and CFAP?

A

They are both the same. The only difference is that the funding source. Comes from either the federal or the state federal is SNAP and state is CFAP.
