A

To be considered a non-recurring lump sum payment, a payment must be money owed to the household for a period prior to the current month, or represents the return of payment or part of a payment that was in the past, made by the household and/or is a one time payment resulting from a government law policy
Three types of nonrecurring lump sum payment are
Retroactive payments
Return of resources
One time payment resulting from a government policy or law

What are excluded resources?

A

Vehicles
excluding the home and surrounding property, which is not separated from the home by intervening
property owned by others,
household goods and personal effects or exempt resources.
These include one burial plot per household member
the cash value of one funeral agreement per household member provided that the agreement does not exceed exceed $1500 in equity value. Any amount above $1500 will be counted in the resource amount
the cash value of life insurance policies.

When are resources evaluated?

A

Resources are evaluated when a household is not MCE or
Income exceeds 200% FPL, and include in an elderly or disabled household member
And passes the net income test of 100% FPL that makes him not MCE and must evaluate for resources

What are non-MCE household resource limits for Cal fresh?

A

Household without an E/D household member would be $2750
Or
A household, which includes an ED household member would be $4250

A

E/D household, or household, which contain at least one member who is age 60 or over or a federally disabled person
