When is the SAR 7 report do?

A

The SAR7 report is due the fifth day of the submit month. It is still considered timely if received by the 11th we will still except it if it’s received by the first business day of the next month.

A

It is called the “extended filing date”.
if it was received after the extending filing date, we will look at good cause examples would be mental physical condition, extenuating circumstances, domestic violence

What is restoration?

A

Restoration is when we will accept a late report. If it is received within the month following the discontinuance, the report must be complete to restore benefits. The benefits for that month will be prorated.

A

Verifications are needed for gross earned income, self-employment, expenses and verifications are needed. Only when it’s new or there is a change for gross unearned income, dependent care cost, medical expenses, child support expensive.

A

Y NOA (notice of action) form will be sent to the household informing them that the SAR7 report is is incomplete and what the household must do to complete it. Ex being: Missing verification, how it will affect household benefits, what the extended filing date is and the County will assist the household in completing the report

What is sent if the SAR 7 report is overdue?

A

X NOA is sent to the household that informs the recipient that that SAR 7 has not been received what the extension filing date is, the effect on the household benefits, and then County will assist the household in completing the report

A

SAR 90 must be filled out with manual variables, indicating the specifics of what is needed for the SAR7 to be considered complete. This is sent to any incomplete SAR 7 received after the 11th.

A

Before termination is valid and attempt to contact the household will be made via automated contact after mailing XNOA , YNOA or SAR 90. A discontinuance is only valid if the attempt to contact is documented in case comments.

A

There are three mandatory mid period changes
1.one is when the income will likely render them ineligible for benefits due to income being over IRT, which is 130% FPL
2. substantial gambling or lottery winnings.
3. Changes in work hour that may affect eligibility.
