  • Chlorpoplasts are organelles that are have a responsibility in photosynthesis
  • Chloroplasts are always found in the green parts of a plant, for example the leaves, stems and sometimes roots, but most of the time aren’t present in the plant’s roots
  • Chloroplasts have a double membrane
  • Chloroplasts contain DNA and ribosomes
  • Chloroplasts can make their own protein for various purposes
