Allergen
Foreign substance whose presence in the body stimulates an allergic reaction
Allergic Reaction

Anaphylaxis
Severe allergic reaction that can result in cardiac or respiratory compromise
Angiodema
Swelling beneath the skin or mucosa because of an allergic reaction
Antibody
Protein that is produced by the body to neutralize or destroy specific antigens
Histamine
Chemical that is released in the body because of an allergic reaction
Hypersensitivity
Exaggerated immune response to an allergen, drug, or other foreign substance
Pruritus
Sever itching; frequently occurs i the skin during mild and moderate allergic reactions
Urticaria
hives or rashes from an allergic reaction
