What is anatomical position?
- upright stance
- eyes facing forward
- feet anterior and slightly apart
- palms facing anterior
Which anatomical positions are only for the head, neck, and trunk?
Superior (above) and Inferior (below)
Which anatomical positions are for appendages only?
Proximal (closer) and Distal (further)
Describe anterior (ventral) position.
The front of the body part
Describe the posterior position (dorsal).
The back of the body part
Describe the medial position.
