What is the surface anatomy of the heart
A
Right atrium found just laterally to the sternum at the level of the 3rd costal cartilage; left atrium found at the mid clavicular line and the second intercostal space.
Right ventricle found just laterally to the sternum at the level of the 6th costal cartilage; left apex of left ventricle is found at the level of the 5th intercostal space at the left mid-clavicular line

What are the layers surrounding the heart, superficial to deep.

The fibrous pericardium and the parietal pericardium.
The pleural space.
The visceral pericardium, epicardium, myocardium and the endocardium
