What does NRR stand for
Normal reference range
Describe what stage 1 lymphoma would look like
Localised disease, single lymph node, region or single organ node.

Two or more lymph node regions both above of the diaphragm

Two or more lymph node regions above and below the diaphragm

Widespread disease, multiple organs effected, its or without lymph involvement
What causes non Hodgkin’s lymphoma
A change in DNA of a type of white blood cell (lymphocytes). These then multiply uncontrollably and can spread elsewhere
How is non Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosed
Through a biopsy, while this is the only way to confirm a blood test can indicate an abnormal amount of lymphocytes
What treatment options are there for non Hodgkin’s lymphoma
Depends on the grade but common treatments include chemotherapy, radiotherapy, monoclonal antibody therapy
What causes acute myeloid leukemia
Caused by genetic changes in blood cells produced in the bone marrow, AML can also be linked to cigarette smoke exposure
How is AML diagnosed
tests include blood and lab tests, bone marrow biopsy, lumbar puncture, and imaging.
