A

Block entry of Ca through L-type channels

Inhibits influx of ca through L-type channel, in vascular smooth muscle

Effects:
• reduced contractility
• reduced spread of electrical impulses
• vasodilation
• antiarythmic (only in non-dihydropyridine)
