History
Manipulation often reveals atypical movement and crepitus unless fracture is high up the limb
Radiographical examination

Lateral falls
‘Pushing/racing’ through narrow entrances

A
No treatment indicated
Respond well to box rest
Although sequestra - open draining tract develops

A
Occasionally pelvic symphysis separation during calving

A
Sunken spine at sacrum
