symptoms of autoimmune hepatitis?
A
- Autoimmune signs (e.g. fever, malaise, rash, polyarthritis..)
- gradual onset of jaundice
- some may be asymptomatic

+ve ASMA (anti smooth muscle antibody)
+ve ANA (antinuclear antibody)
increase in IgG

treatment for autoimmune hepatitis?
A
IMMUNOSUPPRESSIVE THERAPY
- prednisolone to induce remission
- azathioprine to maintain remission
