A
- cardiac failure
- hepatic cirrhosis
- hypoproteinaemia
- hepatic venous occlusion

what are symptoms/sign of a small ascites?
A
asymptomatic

what are the symptoms/signs of a large ascites?
A
(large is >1L)
- abdominal distention
- fullness in the flanks
- shifting dullness on percussion
- fluid thrill/ fluid wave
