When does notification to the FD have to be made when a standpipe is OOS? What about for sprinkler or fire alarm systems?
Any time the standpipe is OOS a notification to FD must be made.
Sprinkler or alarm system OOS notification made when:
1-either system OOS on more than1 floor
2-sprinkler system repairs cannot be completed within 8hrs
3-fire alarm OOS for more than 8hrs in any 24hr period
4-when either system is OOS and another system will be OOS

TorF summons for failure to notify of OOS fire protection system?
If fire protection system is OOS the impairment coordinator or trained staff can do fire watch for 1st __hrs if each floor is patrolled at leave once an hour and area doesn’t exceed 50,000sq/ft
