A

Distressed when mother leaves, avoidant of stranger, happy when mum returns and uses mum as a safe base to explore their environment.

A

Distressed when mother leaves, avoids stranger, shows fear, child resists contact when mum returns

A

No sign of distress when mother leaves, OK with stranger and plays normally when stranger is present. Shows little interest when mother returns.
