- Studies yielded results of 1,990 children
- Meta-analysed meaning results were combined and analysed together

- Wide variation between attachment types in different countries
- Secure attachment was most common classification
- Rate of secure varied from 75% in UK to 50% in China
- Individualist cultures shared low rates of insecure resistant like Ainsworths study. (14%)
- Collectivist cultures like China, Japan had rates above 25%
