Davies test
Start in plank with hands 36 inches apart and alternate touching hands for 15 seconds; do 3x
Shark Skill test
Start in middle of grid on one foot with hands on hips, hop through designated pattern (always coming back to center square), and record time; do practice plus 2x on each foot; add 0.1 seconds for leg touching down, hands coming off hips, foot in wrong square, foot not returning to center square
Upper Extremity Strength test
Bench Press: Do 8-10 reps, rest 1 minute, add 5-10% of weight, do 3-5 reps, rest 2 minutes, repeat until failure between 3-5 reps; use chart to estimate 1RM
Lower Extremity Strength test
Squat: Do 8-10 reps, rest 1 minute, add 10-20% of weight, do 3-5 reps, rest 2 minutes, repeat until failure between 3-5 reps; use chart to estimate 1RM
YMCA 3-Minute Step Test
Do 96 steps/minute on a 12-inch step for 3 minutes, and measure heart rate for 60 seconds within 5 seconds of finishing; use chart to estimate VO2max
Rockport Walk Test
Walk 1 mile on treadmill as fast as can be controlled, and record heart rate at end; plug into formula to estimate VO2max
Vertical Jump test
Jump by ruler on wall, subtracting standing reach; do 3x
40-Yard Dash
Hold three-point stance for 3 seconds before starting, and record time; do 2x
