Starting with distal using gracey 13 and 14 as well as 17 and 18 Start with posteior-most tooth and move forward because of patient cheek:

Step 1: Place working end in the get ready zone near the distofacial line angle

Step 2: Lower instrument handle and hug the face against the tooth surface and insert beneath the gingival margin

Step 3: move to distofacial line angle at the get ready zone.

Step 4: Lower instrument handle and insert

Step 5: Roll the handle as you approach mesiofacial line angle to maintain adaptation

Step 6: Work at least halfway across the mesial surface
