flushed face, yelling, swearing, clentched fist, cant think

Talk firmly, show of force, offer meds
Crisis phase s/s
screaming, fighting, total loss of control

Give med IM, restraints
Recovery phase interventions
talk about situation or trigger, document
Post crisis interventions
remove client from restraint, discuss behavior

Dissociative Disorders
Dissociative amnesia, Dissociative identity disorder (multi personality disorder), depersonalization disorder

SSRI: Paroxetine (Paxil), sertaline (Zoloft)
