Monitor patients with cardiovascular disease, and pregnancy category C.
What is the usual dose of Albuterol?
Adult and pediatric: .5 ml of Albuterol nebulized with 2.5 ml of saline. For a total of 3 ml.
What are you going to monitor, report, and document with the administration of Albuterol?
Monitor the ECG in patients with cardiac history or over age 45. Report and document vital signs within 5 minutes of administration and at completion of treatment.
