What happens in Act 4, Scene 2?
A
At MD’s castle, LMD accosts Ross, demanding to know why her husband has fled as she feels betrayed. Ross insists that she should trust her husband. Once he has gone, LMD tells her son that his father is dead. Suddenly, a messenger appears warning LMD that she is in danger and should flee. A group of murderers enters. When one of them denounces MD, MD’s son calls the murderer a liar, and the murderer stabs him. LMD turns to run, but the murderers chase after her.
