What happens in Act 2, Scene 2?
A
Lady Macbeth goes to find Macbeth after he has killed the King. She says that she would have done it herself has he not resembled her father.
Macbeth says he has done the deed, and that he heard the chamberlains wake up an prey, but he couldn’t say “amen”.
LMB notices that MB forgot to leave the daggers with the sleeping chamberlains so they could be framed.
They both hear knocking, so return to their chamber to wash themselves clean of blood.
