What happens in Act 2, Scene 1?
A
Macbeth and Banquo discuss the witches, and Macbeth says he has not thought of them since that night.
Macbeth has a vision of a dagger floating in the air before him. He thinks he sees blood on the blade, and then decides that the dagger is just a manifestation of his unease about killing Duncan. A bell tolls and Macbeth strides towards Duncan’s chamber.
