What happens in act 1 scene 5?

In Macbeth’s castle Lady Macbeth reads a letter that she has received form Lady Macbeth. The letter is about Macbeth’s promotion to the Thane of Cawdor and his encounter with the witches. She tries to convince her husband to do whatever it takes to make himself King. She gives her famous monologue about needing to loose her femininity to become more powerful. Macbeth enters and Lady Macbeth tells him to leave the plan to her and that the King will never see tomorrow.
