What is the location of the quadratus lumborum?
Iliac crest, rib 12, L1-L4
What is the location of the rectus abdominis?
Pubic crest/symphysis, xiphoid process, 5-7 costal cartilages
What are 2 characteristics of the rectus abdominis?
- They have tendinous sheaths (that don’t connect to bone)
- They have inscriptions/intersections
What is the innervation of rectus abdominis?
Intercostal nerves
What is the location of the external obliques?
Lower 8 ribs, iliac crest/linea alba
What does the aponeurosis of the external obliques form?
Inguinal ligament
Which muscle interdigitates with the serratus anterior?
External Obliques
What is the innervation of the external obliques?
Intercostal (thoracic) nerves

Expiration

Inguinal lig, Iliac crest, last 4 ribs (costal cartilages)
