With each follow-up, give friendly greeting, name, organization, who wish to reach, clarify understanding about disaster mental health symptoms, ask how doing, normalize experience, ask about coping strategies, encourage healthy coping strategies with referral to health services, ask about other people, connect with each person separately, contact referral source for more contact information and give help with calling if wanted with health-science supported communication techniques with written consent. Document each interaction with date, location, health needs, follow-up need with contact information.
