4.5 - The rich man Flashcards

1
Q

Explain the story of the rich man

A

A man came up to Jesus and asked what he needed to do to get into heaven. He called Him ‘good teacher’. Jesus said only God is good. Jesus replied to his question by reminding him of the 10 commandments. The man said he had followed them. Jesus then told him to go and sell everything he owned. He was reluctant because he was wealthy. Jesus said it was hard for those with wealth to enter the kingdom of God. The disciples were astounded. Jesus said nothing is impossible with God
