Retell the story of the feeding of the 5000
The disciples had finished teaching so Jesus told them to rest and eat. Then hopped on a boat and found a deserted place. But the crowds got there first on foot and waited for them. Jesus had compassion for them and told the disciples to buy them some food. The disciples didn’t have enough money to feed 5000 people. A boy had offered his 5 loaves and two fish. Jesus ordered everybody to sit on the grass in groups of 100s and 50s. Jesus blessed the five loaves and two fish. he broke them and gave them to the disciples to pass around. 5000 men ate and there were leftovers.

What did Jesus challenge the disciples to do originally?
He challenged them to find the food for the whole crows themselves.

Because it would have cost half a year’s wages.

Jesus blessed the food and held it up the heaven.
Moses prayed to God to provide for the people in the desert after the escape from egypt
