3.6 - The empty tomb Flashcards
Retell Mark 16:1-8
After the Sabbath, Mary Magdelene and some others went to annoint Jesus’ dead body. They went to the tomb. They wondered who would roll the stone out the way for them. But when they got there, they saw it had already been rolled away. They entered and saw a young man dressed in a white robe. He said ‘do not be alarmed’. Jesus has risen, He is not here. He aslso told them to tell Jesus’ disciples that He has gone ahead of them to galilee and they must meet Him there. They fled from the tomb.
