The disciples, hearing this called Bartimaeus over. he came. Jesus asked what he wanted Him to do for him. Bartimaeus asked to see again. Jesus granted this. Then Bartimaeus followed Him.

A

it shows his faith to throw away all material possession to seek Jesus. At the time, given his social status, his cloak would have been his only and most valuable possession. It was used for warmth, money collecting and more. The fact he gave it up so willingly to find Jesus shows his faith.
