Energy transferred by respiration and are controlled by enzymes

Give examples of reactions involved in metabolism
A
Endothermic-large molecules are made from smaller ones e.g. Lipids are made from one molecule of glycerol and 3 fatty acids
Exothermic-larger molecules are broken down into smaller ones e.g. Excess proteins are broken down to produce urea
