Q

What’s the lock and key model

A

That enzymes will only bund in to one specific substrate so if the substrate doesn’t fit the active site the reaction won’t be catalyse

7
Q

How does temperature affect enzyme activity

A

Higher=faster rate but if too hot bonds holding enzyme tog will break substrate won’t fit anymore and it’ll be denatured

8
Q

How the ph affect enzyme activity

A

If too high or too low it interferes with bonds and denatures
Optimum ph is the best ph that work at many is 7ph
