What is the method of a study?

A

Should include sufficient detail so other researchers can replicate the study:

  1. Design (types of groups and observations) + reasons for choice
  2. Sample (participants) + sampling method + target population
  3. Apparatus (any relevant materials used)
  4. Procedure (what was said, instructions, debrief) + list everything that happened
  5. Ethics (how they were addressed)
