Americana Armlock
Position: Mount
Slice 1: Basic Application
Indication: You are in Mount position.
A strike or a slap will bring Op’s arms up near their face.
Pick an arm and push to the ground at wrist and elbow.
Place inside arm’s elbow against Op’s neck.
Outside hand slides under Op’s elbow (palm up) and turns to grasp your wrist.
With your head close to the grip, roll Op’s elbow up while you slide his knuckles down.
Americana Armlock
Position: Mount
Slice 2: Position Control
Indication: You have gotten the Americana grip.
You can no longer post you hands out and you need to maintain position control.
Grip side knee stays close.
Place hip pressure on Op with outside leg wrapped around Op’s leg and lift your heel to the sky.

Position: Mount
Slice 3: Neck Hug Variation
Indication: You are in Mount and have wrapped your arm around Op’s neck for position control.
A strike or a slap will bring Op’s arms up near their face.
Free hand pushes Op’s wrist to the ground and yanks it over for the neck hug arm to grasp (spork).
Outside hand slides under Op’s elbow (palm up) and turns to grasp your wrist.
Establish leg hook and lift your heel to the sky.
Slide your elbow over Op’s head and lad elbow against Op’s neck. Switch to Spoon grip.
With your head close to the grip, roll Op’s elbow up while you slide his knuckles down.
