Lehi taught that Christ “suffereth himself [to be] a sacrifice for sin, to answer the ends of the law.” What are the “ends of the law?”

Lehi taught that the Atonement “satisfies the demands of justice.” What does that mean?
The Savior paid for the price of everyone’s sin
The Lord said, “I, God, have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer if they would repent.” Does that mean that those who repent do not have to suffer for their own sins?
No, we will suffer but not to the degree the Savior did
