In the parable of the vine, Jesus is described as the “true vine;” Heavenly Father is described as the “husbandman;” and we are described as the “branches.” Explain the interrelationship of the vine, the husbandman, and the branches.
The branches cannot exist without the vine. The husbandman takes care of it all.
If the branches bear fruit, he purgeth them to bear more fruit. If they don’ bear fruit, he taketh them away. If the branch separates from the vine, it is withered cast into the fire, and burned.
