Microscopic examination of skin svraping
Fungal culture
Wood lamp examination. Infected tissue will color yellow green
How do you treat m. Canis dermatophytosis? 2
Spot on treatment and whole body treatment
What are human symptoms of dermatophytosis?
Spreading ring shaped lesions on the head or body
Where does healing begin with dermatophytosis?
From the center
What will a humans skin look like with dermatophytosis?
Periphery is reddish brown with vesicles, pustule formation. Skin will be dry and scaly or moist and crustsy
What is the incubation period of dermatophytosis?
4-14 days
