Carpal tunnel syndrome- ss, px, pom

A

ss- weakness/numbness/tingling in med 3.5 dingoes, mm atrophy in thenar group, shaking out hand relieving

px- tinels, sustained pressure, decreased grip strength, phalans +ve, atrophy of thenar

pom- conserve, pot surgery

De Quervains Tenosynovotis- ss. px, pim

A

ss- affects EPB, APL, near base of thumb and sticking sensation in thumb when moving

px- finklesteins, reduced grip strength, resisted wrist extension and thumb extension painful

pom- conserve
