Noem een voorbeeld van een situatie bij het behandelen met licht- en lasertherapie waarbij het doelchromofoor niet hetzelfde zijn als het doelweefsel.
Dit komt voor bij een ontharingsbehandeling d.m.v. licht- of lasertherapie. Is het pigment van het haar het doelchromofoor en de bulbus is het doelwit wat je wilt vernietigen.
- Bij het doelchromofoor hemoglobine is het doelchromofoor niet bloed, maar de vaatwand.
Door de stolling van de bloedcellen raakt de vaatwand beschadigd.

- Het is daarbij ook mogelijk om een ‘pre-treatment’ toe te passen met alpha-hydroxy acids of bleekmiddelen.
- En ook het afschermen van tattoos en zongebruinde huid is belangrijk.
