Week 6 - oefentoets HC Flashcards
What costs do you have to take into account when purchasing a new product/technology? Name 4.
- Service costs
- Costs of replacements
- Consumption costs
- Costs of other/separate parts
Case:
A 19-year-old woman comes to you in a dermal therapy practice because she has severe acne during her youth and is now bothered by the scars and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation on her face.
Name at least 3 treatment options based on 3 different technologies that you could apply and state on which technology this treatment is based.
- Chemical peel for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and scars. Chemical technology is used in this situation.
- Laser treatment. This treatment is based on laser/light technology.
- LPG Endermology. This treatment is based on pressure technology.
According to the P6 method by Roel Grit, the plan of action has several chapters. What question does the chapter ‘Quality’ Answer?
How to ensure the quality of the interim results and the project results?
You have done research to an upcoming dermal technology. In what step of the P6 method would you execute the project and what does this step include?
This includes that you need to monitor the amount of hours and money you want to spend on certain tasks, and also how to get in contact with stakeholders. As well as when and where you want to work on the project and keep up with the high standard.

What should you look at before analyzing an academic article to include it in a literature review?
- analyze the abstract, is it relevant?
In the video clip of Melbourne University 2017, the following definition of a literature review is mentioned: The literature review is the part of the paper where there is extensive reference to related research in your field; it is the part where connections are made between the source texts you use and where you position yourself and your own work between these sources -
Explain why it is important to analyze your article in advance and give examples of questions you can ask yourself.
- You base your discussion on your analysis.
Examples questions: - Is the method robust?
- Have they shown prejudice?
What are good arguments to say yes to a new technology in your business?
- when the business is prepared to buy new technology/ you have the money and clientele.
- if you have done enough research
- when your personnel is confident enough and has had training to do the treatment.
- when you have enough finances to be able to buy the product
-when you have a good connection and backup from your supplier.
Statement: true or false:
No adverse events will occur if the staff is confident and well-trained and the pre-and post-treatment care is outstanding.
False - adverse events can always happen.
