- How long have they been in business?
- Have they had this technology for long?
- Has this technology changed from distributors? (kangaroo hopping)
- Does the distributor have a good reputation? Why or why not? (ask your peers/clinic owners)
- Did they respond to your email or call in a timely manner?

- What is their knowledge of the product?
- What is the client’s opinion of this technology?

- What does the client expect from you?
- What are their aims?

- What is the price of the technology?
- Ask for evidence to support the marketing promises.
- What is the training and service agreement?
- Translate the puffery(promises) for suitability. -> Are their claims true or evidence-based?
- What is the warranty and guarantee?
- How is the technology different from other technologies?

- Is the demographic of the clinic suitable?
- What is the economic climate?
- Can they afford to lease or pay for the technology?
- Is the technology worthwhile?/ can they afford it? -> research will answer this.
- Is the new technology necessary?
