• Smear petroleum jelly over the cut stalk to stop water from leaving
• Measure the mass of each leaf
• Hang leaves on a string
• Support leaves on string with a retort stand
• Place in a warm area
• Repeat at a colder temperature with different leaves
• Measure mass after 24 hours
