Q

consecutive collection technique

A

  • room temp time of collection- incubated 27
  • mark vial before collection so you know volume.-skin scrupulously cleaned and disinfected.
  • repalpating not recommended
  • note insufficient specimen on req-split between two vials inoculate aerobic bacteria only or some say inoculate only one vial so aerobic
  • nsq not sufficient quantity note on req
