Q

function of teeth

A
  • incisors: single-rooted teeth with sharp, thin. front of mouth.cut food without heavy force.

-canine teeth: known as cuspids located at corner of arch. they have the longest roots of all teeth, last teeth to be lose

  • premolars: known as bicuspids, cross between canine and molars. the premolars have a borad surface made for chewing food.
  • molars: much larger then premolars and usually have four or more cusps to chew grind food.
