Certain procedures should be followed each morning and evening to ensure efficient use oof clinical areas.
Morning Routine:
- arrive 30 minutes before firs scheduled patient of day
- Tune on the master switches for central air compressor and vacuum units
-prepare the dental treatment rooms for patient care - examine the appointment schedule
-prepare the treatment room for first patient.
Evening Routine:
- complete the operatory exposure control cleanup and preparation protocols.
- turn off all equipment
-ensure that treatment rooms are adequately stocked for the next day - post appointment schedules for next workday
-ensure that instruments and laboratory work ready for next day
-ensure that sterilization center has been cleaned
-ensure treatment room are ready for use
-play any soiled protective in the appropriate container.
