Q

Why was the Anglo-Russian Entente of 1907 signed?

A

Due to French influence. France already had agreements with Russia and Britain, it made sense that Britain had an agreement with Russia too, it’d complete the Entente.
ALSO, Britain and Russia were keen to settle differences regarding territory in the Middle East (Persia).
